New idea - splitting level up into smaller parts


I've had an idea, which is to instead of having one big level, to split it up into smaller levels. Not too small, but smaller than the current level. This will help with player engagement. The reward of seeing a new level is an incentive to keep playing. Also, I realise people may not want to play my game for longer periods. So people can also have bite-sized chunks of the game without needing to play it for a fair while in order to complete a level. I will also have to make progress savable. This new change will be implemented before the Steam release.
